Rev. Dr. Terrill N. Murff is the newly called Acting Associate Conference Minister of the Illinois Conference of the United Church of Christ. Rev. Murff brings enthusiasm, passion and a love for God to both the CMA and to his role with Community Renewal Society. Rev. Murff previously served as Pastor and Teacher at The Congregational Church of Park Manor, UCC. At Park Manor, Pastor Murff exhibited excellent organizational skills. He is an excellent preacher and visionary leader, able to work with and facilitate interactions among people from different socio-economic, age and ethnic groups. Pastor Murff’s educational background consists of a Doctorate of Ministry in Preaching and a Master of Divinity from McCormick Theological Seminary as well as a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. Rev. Murff’s 26-year-career in engineering (as a leader, supervisor and manager for W.R. Grace) helped prepare him for his leadership role with the United Church of Christ. Pastor Murff is a true man of God who is a critical thinker, a team player and a teacher.  He analyzes group situations and develops productive plans of action. He loves the challenge of serving God!
