Join CRS and our community partners for a virtual public hearing via Zoom on the 2019 Consent Decree. Gather with us to help monitor the implementation of the Consent Decree and demand police accountability and oversight of the Chicago Police Department (CPD). Below are the event logistics.
Sign-ups: You can sign up to speak during the session on the Chicago Police Independent Monitoring Team’s website.
Deadline: Registration will remain open until September 9 at 4:30 PM.
Speaker order: Unlike in the past, where the Independent Monitor has conducted a lottery, speakers for this hearing will be ordered on a first-come first-serve basis. The Court will try to allow everyone who signed up to speak. Each speaker will have 5 minutes.
