With only three weeks left in the legislative session, Wednesday, May 8, 2013 was a big day for our legislative priorities in the Illinois General Assembly Committees. Committee approval for these bills is required before they can be voted on by the full chamber.

The Senate Executive Committee passed HB 1 10-5-0. Check out the fact sheet and bill sponsors. Contact your Senator now and urge them to support HB 1 on the Senate floor.
